The gentle discipline of resting inside uncertainty in the cradle of deep time. He’d gotten an answer but he didn’t know what he knew, which is why the last line is so haunting, I think. I love that poem.

Thanks for the perfect message, as always. I’ve always wondered about the faith, or conviction, that drove the Magi on in a perilous journey for a suspect master. They must have known something really important was happening that they couldn’t miss. It’s kind of a theatrical alert to all of us. PS: I hope your time off is refreshing.
